The League Season 3
2009-2011 - Katie Aselton, Mark Duplass, Nick Kroll, Stephen Rannazzisi, Paul Scheer, Jon Lajoie
The fourth season starts (well, by the time you read this "started") Thursday night on FX, and in preparation I went ahead to catch up on season three. For the uninitiated, this show is about a group of friends and their Fantasy Football League. It's a raunchy comedy, and you should enjoy it. Every crazy ass moment and horrible prank. 4/5
The Grey
2012 - Liam Neeson, Dermot Mulroney
John Ottway (Neeson) is a hunter in Alaska whose job is to protect oil drilling teams from wolf attacks. On the way home from his last day on the job, the plane crashes in a blizzard. The men are forced to survive the harsh cold as a pack of grey wolves stalk them. Neeson is excellent, as always. The other characters are surprisingly fleshed out for a survival film. The ending was ambiguous, apparently on purpose, but felt a little flat. As a whole, the film moved slowly, but was poignant overall. Personally, I think you can ignore the whole "is this a pro-atheism/anti-God" debate and just enjoy it. 3/5

The Grey has been on my list forever...I have this Thursday off and need to hit Redbox....perhaps it's time!
I did NOT get the anti-God message out of The Grey. I guess if you're looking for it, you can find it anywhere. Thought it was a fine film, just advertised wrong.
My NetFlix watch tonight is The Hunger Games. Yeah, didn't see it in the theater because of the crowds, and if I don't see a movie opening night, I usually don't see it.
films like THE GREY scare me to no extent, but they're always interesting to watch.
The only thing I noticed in that post was THE WALKING DEAD ~ ooohhhh mmyyyy gooooddd... Soon!!!
Also, NOW I HAVE NETFLIX ON MY XBOX!!! Hooray!
I love The League because I'm a fan of all of the people on it. The Grey, however, I will give a harsher review because, from the trailers, I was promised wolf fight. Alas, there was no wolf fight. Hence, I am bitter.
We finished both seasons of The Walking Dead this week. It is my first viewing and I already want to watch them again. I'm excited for Sunday, but bummed I have to wait a week between shows. :-(
I didn't get The Grey. I loved the cinematography, but just felt dull by the end.
I was so crazy for Alphas first season. This season I've just peeked at a few episodes. I'm wondering though, do you like Revolution, the new NBC Show? Never seen The Grey and not really interested still.
We watched Grey not too long ago...I'm a HUGE Liam Neeson fan, but this movie was really disappointing. I'm pretty sure it had the worst ending in the history of movie endings...but it was based off of a book so I guess the ending couldn't really be changed. Still though, it was kinda slow...for me, it was hard to tell one guy from the other, so I really didn't know who was getting eaten by wolves or not.
I passed on the grey
I'm 50/50 with Neeson, so I was a bit wary about The Grey. I'll have to give it a shot, though.

Maybe. But "Watchmen" totally changed the ending of the comic for the movie adaptation...changed the tone totally, for me!
However, maybe I'll just read "The Grey" instead of renting the movie....
I've given up on Netflix, its yet another thing I feel guilty about not being able to get to.
