Nerds Unite

I had a very strange dream last night. Unfortunately, it's not story worthy, or in any way that truly makes sense. The best I can describe it is that it was a cross between a puzzle-heavy RPG video game, Jurassic Park, and the Battle of Endor from Return of the Jedi.

Let that soak in a second.

Now you understand why I'm all "HUH?" this morning. There were no Ewoks, only humans running around. The Empire was replaced by dinosaurs, and those bastards were organized. I'm talking a line of Velociraptors with riot shields.

Your guess is as good as mine.

Move on? Okay.

While driving to retrieve children from daycare on Monday, I was stopped behind a sedan at a red light. I saw this sticker in her back window.

Zelda for the win.

There was also this one that is familiar, yet I can't quite place it.

Purple Turtle or Dragon, maybe? Wearing a backpack with a map sticking out.

Sorry for the glare/wash-out, but that's as clear as I can make it; I was trying to snap this second picture before the light changed. Can a brother get some help? So far Google has not been helpful.

**EDIT: Thanks to Adam in the comments for identifying the image. It's Blastoise, apparently a Pokemon character which explains why I could not identify. Thanks again, Adam!

And this last one, just for bragging rights.

This is the finish of Lego Harry Potter Years 5–7, everything collected, everything unlocked, everything solved, and all Xbox360 achievements awarded. Now that everything's at 100%, it's time to move on to Fallout: New Vegas for the PS3.

That's how we do.

*License: I took these pictures.

If you can sort out that dream, might be one wild story.
I downloaded the Lego Harry Potter for the iPad the other day when it was 99 cents. However, Diablo III has since taken over.

Alex - Sound gr——Wait! What? Lego HP for iPad?! I wish I'd known because it's back up to $5 for each. Looks like I know what I'm buying tomorrow.

The 2nd one is Blastoise

The dream sounds more like a good movie to me. Velociraptors with riot shields? Little boys all over the world are dying to see that movie.

Congrats on HP--my kids are still working on it. But it's nice weather so we'll have to wait for some rain.

Adam - Genius! Thank you. Driving me insane.

Kristen - Hopefully all you have to wait for is some rain and not some illness. That's usually when I get to play.

Make sure you get a Brush Gun ASAP in Vegas.

Had you a picture I could have told you it was a pokemon, not which one.. although my youngest could.. cool.

Matthew - Not a fan of the YCS/186, Ranger Sequoia, Riot Shotgun, or All-American? There's always the AMR, despite it's weight and slow rate of fire.

Vodka - Someone else said Pokemon, but I did an image search and couldn't find a match. Not sure why.

"The Empire was replaced by dinosaurs, and those bastards were organized." Bwahahah! That made me laugh!

Congrats on the HP - awesome score! - and wish I could help you with the sticker, but I'm at a loss. :(

Happy Thursday!

That's the kind of dream Branden wishes would be in film form! As for window stickers, I saw this and thought totally of you:

I'm with Kristen. I think that has all the makings of a great movie. You could even have a sergeant say your comment. "Man! Those bastards are organized!" I now have an image of velociraptors with riot sheilds. That is one scary image. ;D

Your dream sounded amazing! I haven't gotten the chance to play the second Lego HP game yet.

That dream sounds pretty awesome, although odd.

And that's so cool about the Harry Potter game. Man, it makes me want to bring out my old Harry Potter PC games and play. I should get the Lego ones.

I'm filling in the action and details of that dream. The battle of Endor would have been amazing if there were dinosaurs and puzzles.
The last time I played Zelda was nearly 10 years ago when my GameBoy finally broke. I need to find it free online somewhere.

What's the big deal? ALL of my dreams are like that. Why, just last night these purple elephants in flying tanks--wait a minute--that was during the day! I wasn't asleep. Never mind.

Wow that is an interesting dream.

Congrats on finishing Lego Harry Potter! :-)

Very cool dream. I was about to say the sticker was a pokemon, but someone else beat me here!

I'm surprised you had a dream. You have so much to do, I don't know how you have time to sleep.

Love,
Janie

Congrats on the 100% The Lego video games are the only ones where I HAVE to get 100% before moving on :)

The Zelda sticker rocks too.

I have some bizarro dreams myself.

Joshua said...

Jaycee - I had that exact thought/line while sleeping. Someone may have even said it.

Princess - I'm taking investors if he's interested.

Jaleh - Animated film, I think. I should call Dreamworks. This seems to be a bit too PG-13 for Pixar.

Jeremy - It's good. The first was better, in my opinion.

Cherie - Makes me want to play all night.

Pickleope - Emulators and Roms. That is all.

fishducky - So I wasn't the only one who saw that?

Misha - Fine line between interesting and insane.

Christine - I swear I looked through a Pokemon picture directory and couldn't find that.

Janie - Who said I was asleep?

Jamie - It's a must before moving on.

Joshua said...

Nicole - This one was tame by comparison.

You have the most weird dreams :), I understand the confusion waking up from it.

Regarding unlocking every achievement on the Lego Harry Potter years 5-7, congratulations. I've played it once, but I like the former better (years 1-4).

Waiting for Lego Batman 2 to come out though, it seems like a pretty cool game.

Lego games are awesome.

Looks like I need to play a lot of Lego HP to catch up to you.

Congratulations on reaching 100%!

That's one interesting dream.

I quite enjoy your picture posts....please do more and more.

Samantha said...

You had me at Jurassic Park...sounds like a dream I would have, and it sounds awesome :)

Ciara said...

You just had a dream with all the favorites of my six-year-old. Time to write a children's story. :)

Joshua said...

Annika - You're right. The first Lego HP was better.

Cassie - Word.

Golden Eagle - I think I'm on the verge of a psychotic break.

Kato - I'll try to do better, if it means you come by more often.

Samantha - Freaky image, isn't it?

Ciara - I'd need a lot of editing to do a kid's book. Mostly for language. And content.
