Assuming I did that correctly, you should be able to click the image and be magically transported to the linky list with all 1,400+ A-to-Z participants. If not, you can click here instead.
In keeping with the spirit of this blog, the A-to-Z Challenge for me—in this my initiatory year—will focus on one aspect of my Nerd.
Shirts
Yes,
that's right. Shirts. Each day will have a picture of a shirt from my
Nerd collection that corresponds to the letter of the day. The first one
is scheduled for Sunday. I'll warn you that the weekend posts for the
A-to-Z probably won't have much going for them other than the picture
and a (hopefully) witty comment.
Along
the same lines, the Cinema Challenge blog—again, The Red Pill link at
the right—will also be participating in the A-to-Z. We'll be
highlighting our own picks for each category we've decided upon. There
will be more there tomorrow. For now, head on over and take your last
chances at this week's Harry Potter Quiz.
So, strap in folks. It's going to be a busy month.
Word to the Nerd

Clickety-clicked and I got the pic instead. You'll have to replace the first tag in the href sequence to go to the site. Uh...yeah, I'm a techy-geeknoid...sorry about that!
But the other link works though! :)
Fun! I can't wait!
imagine if all those 52 posts disappear when they put us on new Blogger this Sunday :PPP 'tis my black humour, sorry :)
Those sound great! Crap, I could've easily selected twenty-six t-shirts from my concert collection. Scary, huh?
Jen - It should be fun. I'm probably too excited for it. :o)
DEZ - My heart just stopped. I think I'll do a backup...just in case.
Alex - Almost all of them were a cinch. I did take a few liberties, but only once or twice. Except for X. I had to order a shirt for X.
looking forward to your awesome shirts! what a great idea for quick posts! and look at you, so far ahead!
good job!
*places gold star on your forehead*
vic - Thanks for the gold star. Goof.
The shirt one sounds awesome. I love nerd shirts. I have a lot of zombies ones.
That's an awesome theme. Do you enough nerd shirts in your collection? If so, I am SUPER impressed. ThinkGeek is one of my favorite places to procure attire. Can't wait to check out your post on Sunday!
Dude, I've bookmarked your page so I can see all of those shirts. (And brag if I own the same one, lol)
Hope this blogfest doesn't "wear" you out. Sorry. Couldn't help myself. Will be looking forward to reading about these awesome shirts. :)
Great idea! Have you seen The Losers? Jensen wears some great t-shirts in that movie :)
Shirts. Pure nerdy awesome. I want to have more geeky t-shirts, but my budget is too tight. Have a good weekend!
Cool! ;)
Can't wait!
I do love/own nerd shirts. Can't wait!
I must say, when I read about the A-Z I didn't realize that there was to be a theme...
So glad I threw the rules out the window and started mine in March. :)
They have agreed to let me participate, but they are asking me to re-post as we go along, which I am not big into doing. However, I may rewrite some of them....
we'll see. :)
rhi - I love zombies. Sadly, no zombie shirts in the collection.
S.L. - I do, in fact, own more than enough shirts. Only had to buy 1 to cover X as the only unrepresented letter. Had multiples for almost every other letter, though. Especially S.
Cassie - Word.
David - Good one. A groaner.
Hope - Just like STEP BROTHERS.
Christine - I wish I had more, but I'm running out of room.
Emily - Should be good. I hope!
Libby - I'm really excited for it. Probably more than I should be.
Juli - Re-post? Bah. Run them both, simultaneously for T-Z.
That's a lot of shirts... And Alex with concert t-shirts... wow! When I participated, I chose a favorite band and movie for each corresponding day. XD
Joshua! I gave you an award on my blog. Hop over later to get it. :)
Two things:
1. You've already written FIFTY-TWO posts? Omg.
2. Way cool theme with the shirts, look forward to seeing them :)
No idea what I'm going to write about but I'm going to do it too =)
Congrats on being all ready! Can't wait to read about your shirts (that's not something you get to day every day!)
Shirts sound like a fun idea. I shall make sure to check your posts out.
I had thought I would do it (the challenge) but life is getting a bit on top of me this month.
That's an awesome post idea! Can't wait to see what you've got.
You've prepared 52 posts? Go you! (I haven't even prepared enough posts for ONE blog, let alone two!)
Caledonia - I can't imagine going to that many concerts, but I don't enjoy music in a crowd. I'm sure owning this many t-shirts is just as unimaginable to someone else, though. I'll pop over (soon, I hope!) and check out what this award might be. I always get scared.
Annika - 52, indeed. It was very time-consuming, but better than taking 1 hour a day. Instead, it took about 18 hours to do them all in one shot.
Tanya - Can't wait! I'm sure whatever you do, it will be balls to the wall awesome.
Jenna - That made me laugh when it first came through my email, and again just now when I read it to comment.
Mynx - It probably wasn't the best decision for me either, but it's too late now.
Jamie - Mwahahaha!
Rachel - It was really daunting, but I just carved out the time and got them done. Brain was fried by the end, but they're made and drafted and ready for posting each day.
